CNU Ontario

CNU Ontario is the provincial Chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU). CNU is North America’s foremost advocate for advanced urban design.

Consistent with our 7-point Directive, CNU Ontario’s mission is to promote and recognize high community & urban design standards in Ontario, with the goal of enhancing urban life and creating more pedestrian-oriented, human-scaled built environments.  Our Directive is based on the principles of New Urbanism as provided in the Charter of the New Urbanism, but adapted to reflect the Ontario context.
