The Seaside Institute

Founded in 1981, Seaside celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2011. Built upon rediscovered traditional town planning principles, the residential and commercial growth of the town has been ongoing and thoughtful. Strategic Property Partners

Strategic Property Partners (SPP) owns or controls more than 50 acres in southern downtown on the Tampa waterfront. The phased development project intends to revitalize the surrounding area and create an urban, mixed-use waterfront district consisting of approximately 9,000,000 square feet of commercial, residential, hospitality, cultural, entertainment, education, and retail uses, totaling approximately $3 billion of investment. Frazier Revitalization, Inc.

Frazier Revitalization, Inc. Fuss & O'Neill

Fuss & O’Neill traces its roots to 1924 as a local survey practice founded by Hayden Griswold, Sr. Growth in the 1960s and 1970s added expertise in land development, transportation, structures, water and sewer systems, and water resources. In 1967 the firm became Griswold & Fuss, and then Fuss & O’Neill in the late 1970s. City of Plano

Plano is a city in Texas 20 miles northeast of Dallas. Its population was 269,776 and it frequently ranks near the top of national livability ratings. In 2001, the first new urbanist town center within an existing business development opened in the sprawling Legacy corporate park. Today, Legacy Town Center spans over 2500 acres and houses over 50,000 workers. DPZ, in collaboration with RTKL Architects and Post Properties, designed the 150-acre infill, mixed-use town center to provide a 400-room convention hotel; 500,000 square feet of Main Street shops and entertainment space; 2,400 units of multi-family housing; and additional office space

City of Rancho Cordova

Every year, the City of Rancho Cordova's Public Works Department completes a number of construction projects in our community. Located in the eastern part of Sacramento County, Rancho Cordova is a community with a rich history including the first 12 miles of railroad in California, a thriving military base in its time, and the home of a successful aerospace company. The community chose to incorporate in order to retain and improve its identity and quality of life, to increase representation and accessibility of local government, to provide greater control over local land use, planning, and regulatory matters, and to provide an increased level of service to Rancho Cordova residents. These projects beautify Rancho Cordova and ensure the City has walkable and connected neighborhoods and safe routes for residents, bikers, and drivers.

City of Richardson

Richardson is a city in Dallas and Collin counties in the State of Texas. Richardson is an affluent inner suburb of Dallas and home of The University of Texas at Dallas and the Telecom Corridor with a high concentration of telecommunications companies. Traditional Neighbourhood Developments Inc. began building the The Village: Niagara on the Lake in 1996. The Village is an architecturally-protected master planned community located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Painstakingly planned and carefully implemented, every aspect of The Village is intended to optimize the quality of life of its residents. Master planned by a team of world-renowned architects and town planners, The Village is completely distinct from a typical suburb, and instead has a character reminiscent of those cherished towns that we all love to visit. Assembled and directed by Liz and John Hawley, the design team, led by prominent New Urbanist Andrés Duany and his firm, Duany Plater-Zyberk & Co. (www.dpz.com), rigorously studied the architectural heritage of Niagara-on-the-Lake for inspiration for this incredible community.

Armed with an understanding of the beauty and heritage of Niagara-on-the-Lake and the guiding principles of New Urbanism, Duany and his team laid the foundation for a new community perfectly suited for this historic and vibrant town.
